For this unit I was able to analyze three school management programs that included: STI, Powerschool and Administrators’ Plus. The software that I choose was Powerschool. I liked how this software was accessible via the web. I loved that the software gave access to administrators, teachers, parents and students.
I was also able to evaluate an accounting software that would assist the schools with having a software that would manage the schools finances. The Biometric tool would be used to manage the teachers’ attendance. The biometric tool would utilize the employees’ finger print. This form of id cannot be duplicated. Teachers’ would utilize the tools and technologies available to them. If and when these tools are used, training must be provided so that the teachers become comfortable with use of these technological tools.
