School Readiness Assessment tools
I personally prefer the Mankato Scale to assess my school readiness for ICT integration. This scale is a simple survey that is easy to use, read and understand. This scale can be distributed to teachers and administrators to obtain a true representation of their technology skills. This Scale would also identify what skills should be enhanced by professional development sessions.
The STaR chart is useful as a projection tool. I would use this chart to encourage the use of ICT in my school. This projection tool can be used to measure what the school is aspiring to do. Before this chart can be utilized at my school a proper plan must be presented for the use of ICT.
